THE SILENCE
Silence from the crowd now permeates the streets of this our once vibrant conurbation where the sound of children, at their play, echoed long into the settling Sun; at end of day. The innocence of youth, now lay barren at the roadside bereft of hope, compassion and the understanding of the elders of the tribe; long since banished far beyond, the borders of your known, World.
